Accounts Payable Data Analyst (Contract | 100% Remote)

This is not a traditional Accounts Payable role. We're looking for a highly analytical AP professional who enjoys working with data, solving complex problems, and improving processes. This role is focused on reporting, reconciliation, and project-based work—not invoice processing.

What You'll Be Doing

• Own and reconcile GR/IR accounts, identifying and resolving discrepancies across systems
• Analyze large datasets to uncover trends, gaps, and process inefficiencies
• Build and maintain Excel-based reports and dashboards for leadership
• Support month-end close with data analysis and reconciliations
• Partner cross-functionally with Procurement, Supply Chain, and Finance
• Contribute to process improvements, automation initiatives, and system enhancements
• Assist with ERP-related projects, reporting improvements, and data cleanup

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years in Accounts Payable, Accounting, or Data/Financial Analysis
• Strong understanding of AP processes (GR/IR, 3-way match, accruals)
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, data manipulation; Power Query a plus)
• Experience working with ERP systems (SAP preferred)
• Ability to analyze complex data and present insights clearly
• Comfortable handling ad hoc reporting and working in a fast-evolving environment
