Privacy Policy

2. Data We Collect

We collect only the data necessary to provide our service:

  • Job posters: name, company name, email address, billing information (processed by Stripe), and the content of the job listing.
  • Job seekers: we do not require registration. No personal data is collected from visitors browsing job listings.
  • Technical data: server logs may include IP addresses, browser type, and page visit timestamps for operational and security purposes.

3. Legal Basis for Processing

We process personal data on the following legal bases under the GDPR:

  • Contract performance (Art. 6(1)(b)): processing required to deliver the job posting service you purchased.
  • Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)): server logs for security and operational monitoring.
  • Legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)): retaining billing records as required by Hungarian accounting law.

4. Payment Data

Payment processing is handled by Stripe, Inc. We do not store credit card numbers or full payment details on our servers. Stripe acts as a data processor under a Data Processing Agreement in accordance with GDPR. For details on how Stripe processes your data, see stripe.com/privacy.

5. Data Retention

  • Job listing data is retained for the duration of the listing plus up to 12 months for support and dispute resolution purposes.
  • Billing records are retained for 8 years as required by Hungarian accounting law.
  • Server logs are retained for up to 90 days.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell personal data. We share data only with:

  • Stripe — for payment processing.
  • Cloud infrastructure providers (e.g. AWS) — for hosting and storage, under standard data processor agreements.
  • Authorities — if required by law.

7. Your Rights Under GDPR

If you are located in the EU/EEA, you have the following rights:

  • Right of access to your personal data
  • Right to rectification of inaccurate data
  • Right to erasure ("right to be forgotten")
  • Right to restriction of processing
  • Right to data portability
  • Right to object to processing

8. Cookies

We use only technically necessary cookies required for the platform to function (e.g. session management). We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
