Canon U.S.A., Inc. in Melville, NY is currently seeking a Generative AI & Data Associate Engineer (Assoc Engineer, Gen AI Data). We are seeking a highly motivated and talented entry level individual to join our Development & AI team. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects and gain hands-on experience in the field of artificial intelligence and software development.
This position is full time and offers a hybrid work schedule requiring you to be in the office Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday and an option to work from home the remainder of the week (unless a specific business need arises requiring in office attendance on other days). Note that work schedules and office reporting requirements may change from time to time based on business needs.
Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as computer science, mathematics or engineering. A strong academic record and a demonstrated interest in data science and artificial intelligence are essential
0-2 years relevant experience in data analysis, data engineering, software development, or research through coursework, projects, or previous internships. A portfolio showcasing skills and achievements is desirable
We are providing the anticipated salary range for this role: $69,300 – $103,770 annually
