The Healthy Brains Global Initiative (HBGI) is a registered non-profit that builds and transforms high-performing mental health services and systems that maximize outcomes for individuals.
Data is central to our mission, and we're looking for an Analyst with strong Power BI skills to join our California team. The ideal candidate brings experience working with operational data - in behavioral health or similar sectors, enjoys collaborating and problem-solving in a close-knit team, and is confident in building Power BI dashboards and training colleagues how to use them. You will have a genuine interest in the mission of HBGI and the sectors where we work.
This role will be supporting HBGI's Performance Management projects. These involve equipping teams delivering behavioral health services to better understand their operational performance data (with a particular view on the outcomes they are delivering for individuals enrolled in their services), understand the drivers of performance and ultimately make decisions to strengthen it.
This role will play a critical role in connecting data, developing intuitive dashboards that facilitate decision-making, and supporting team capacity in maximizing their use.
We don't expect you to be the finished article. We will support your development, guiding your learning and growth. That said, the experience outlined above is a prerequisite.
We value high levels of energy and proactivity. We are looking to change millions of life chances, and in the process, show the world that there is a better way to manage programs and systems. Everything we do is about maximizing performance and we set the bar high.
We approach our work collaboratively and respectfully, with a strong focus on how we engage as partners with the systems and communities we serve. Many members of our team and Board bring lived experience of mental health conditions, and our Lived Experience Council plays an integral role in shaping our work. We maintain a zero-tolerance approach to discrimination, harassment or bullying. An asset-based mindset/model underpins everything we do.
