VP, Product Privacy & AI Legal
For our client, we are seeking a Vp, Product Privacy & AI Legal to join the team of a leader in the Technical Services space. This role will support high-impact work that contributes directly to business performance and team success. You will collaborate across functions to move priorities forward, solve complex problems, and deliver measurable outcomes. The position offers the opportunity to influence both strategic direction and day-to-day execution in a fast-moving environment.

Compensation
$274,800 – $467,200 annually
Responsibilities
- Define the company's legal standards related to AI and data privacy for internal teams and external stakeholders
- Translate evolving legal guidelines into clear, consistent messages for product and engineering teams
- Partner with teams to design AI-centric features while ensuring legal compliance is integrated from the start
- Develop tools and frameworks that empower teams to navigate legal landscapes confidently and efficiently
- Build a dynamic legal organization that can adapt to the fast-paced nature of AI-driven product innovation
Qualifications
- 15+ years of legal experience in product counseling, privacy law, and emerging tech, ideally in a SaaS or AI-native setting
- Deep understanding of GDPR, CCPA, AI law, and cybersecurity regulations
- Proven experience integrating legal considerations into all stages of the product lifecycle
- Ability to transform complex legal concepts into actionable guidance that accelerates product delivery
- Strategic mindset with a proven record in building scalable legal operations and frameworks
- Inspirational leader with experience in hiring and developing diverse legal teams
- Strong executive presence with effective influence across cross-functional teams
